Welcome to Dhangadhi Polytechnic Institute, the second community-based engineering college in Nepal, proudly undertaken by Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City. Established with the aim of bringing technical education to every corner of Sudur-Pachianchal Province, this institute is situated in Dhangadi, Kailali district.
Mission and Purpose
Dhangadhi Polytechnic Institute is committed to reaching every individual in Sudur-Pachianchal Province with technical education. As the second community-based engineering college in Nepal, its primary focus is on providing quality education in the fields of engineering and management.
Offered Programs
The institute offers Diploma programs in two key areas:
- Diploma in Automobile Engineering
- Diploma in Hotel Management (DHM)
Vision
Dhangadhi Polytechnic Institute aspires to be a self-sustaining leading polytechnic institute in Far-West Nepal. It aims to provide both qualitative and quantitative employment-oriented long-term and short-term training courses.
Mission
The institute's mission is to uplift the livelihoods of youths who have either left school-level education or have completed SEE, SLC/+2 education. This is achieved by offering appropriate and qualitative employment-oriented technical education and vocational training.
Goals
- Provide qualitative and affordable diploma and TSLC level courses on construction and surveying trade.
- Offer market-oriented vocational training to unemployed youths belonging to disadvantaged groups, generating self-employment opportunities in local areas.
